Autism Acceptance Touch-a-Truck

Each April we proudly celebrate Autism Awareness & Acceptance. We partner with the Arlington Police Department, Arlington Fire Department, and the Rotary Club of Arlington to put on a Touch-a-Truck event for local neurodivergent children. This event serves to welcome and include all members of our community, help neurodivergent children become more comfortable with the uniforms, vehicles, lights, and sirens that may be a challenge in an emergency situation, and finally help APD & AFD get more expertise in working with these wonderful kiddos!
